Rallies in Europe have higher organisation and safety standard compared to the others out of the continent. However, there are also differences between particular countries. Several errors can be found in all parts of the rally organization as not all the people know the regulations. They don't behave and act in the same way, they don't know what to do in case of extraordinary situations, etc.

Many years ago, we started to think about rally safety more thoroughly and found out that almost all the parts of the rally were being trained - the organizers, route marshals, rescue teams etc. But nobody trained the first aid services - ambulance crews and medicals with the staff.

In case of accident, many people have to work on the special stage - for example the ambulance, rescue team etc. Nevertheless, only the medicals are responsible for extricating people from the rally car. But the ambulance crews working on the rally are mostly prepared to the situations from normal traffic, but aren't ready for the cases that might happen only on the rally with its special conditions (roll cage, belts, helmets, HANS, racing seats, etc.). It's clear that these extraordinary situations have to be trained and showed as the rescue workers might cope with it. Then the consequences of the rally accidents might be less serious and the medicals' support much more efficient.

Thus, we would like to prepare the guide set of books, videos and presentations for general use by medcials all over the world, and additionally also training including theoretical and the practical parts.
